Summerlee House
Summerlee House opened in January, 2005 and is a single storey building, offering luxurious spacious accommodation, furnished and decorated to a very high standard.
Summerlee has a central yet quiet location, being situated in the heart of Coatbridge.
Summerlee consists of four units each having a name linked to the local area. The Fountain, The Sunnyside, The Heritage and The Bridges.
Each unit consists of a formal lounge, dining room and twenty spacious en suite bedrooms with shower facilities, with some premium rooms large enough to be twin or bed sitting rooms.
There are various other day rooms around the building, The Railway Room, Garden Room and Reflection Room, for a variety of uses including church services, birthday celebrations or just for some time on your own. Residents Smoke Room, Light sensory Room, Leisure Room for arts and crafts, fully equipped Hairdressing/Beauty Room and Consulting Room for visiting Doctors, Dentists and Opticians.
A unique focal point in Summerlee is “The Jenny” Tearoom, which overlooks one of the internal gardens and is ideal for friends and families to enjoy light snacks and refreshments all year round, with outdoor seating for the summer months.
A very attractive and homely reception area leads the way to all facilities.
There are two beautifully landscaped enclosed garden areas, with patios and seating. The building has various accesses from either the hallways or from residents’ bedrooms, allowing freedom to the outdoors for all residents in a very safe environment.
